The ULR-600/M56 are low-cost level measurement probes that indicate distance or depth based on user-definable parameters. These ultrasonic probes use sound waves to measure distances to visible surfaces without contact and wear.

It can be used to detect any solid or transparent object, metal or not, liquid or powdery substance. Environmental conditions such as non-excessive smoke or dust have little effect on the detection performance of the ultrasonic sensor.
